Montana's Best Overnight Rafting Trips
Glacier Overnight Whitewater Rafting Options
The wild and scenic Middle Fork of the Flathead River is one of the last great, wild and free flowing rivers of the West. The Middle Fork of the Flathead River forms the southern border of the spectacular Glacier National Park. In the spring through early June, you’ll enjoy camping on an overnight white water rafting trip in Montana when the river is at its peak with Class II-IV rapids. By mid-July, the river is amazingly clear and the white water rapids are a fun-filled Class II and III rafting adventure.
Great Northern’s camping in Montana on overnight and multiday white water rafting trips are 2 or 3 days, complete with all river gear, meals, and shuttle service to and from the river. So, bring your the family or a group of friends and experience a night under the stars near Glacier National Park.
Flathead River Information
You'll enjoy camping with Great Northern on a Montana multiday or overnight white water rafting trip. Our overnight rafting trips run June through September on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. You'll enjoy roughly 16 miles a day on the river leaving time for games, campfires, and time around camp. The length of the trip, as well as the river put in, changes with varying water levels, and can differ from trip to trip. See our blog post on planning your rafting trip.
