Saddle & Paddle

Trying to decide between horseback riding past McDonald Creek and rafting on the gorgeous Flathead River? No need- you can have the best of both with one of our paddle & saddle packages, in partnership with Swan Mountain Outfitters.

Your horseback ride will take you through the oldest forest in Glacier National Park, and past Upper McDonald Creek at the Dancing Water Cascades. You’ll have a glimpse of everything from mountain views to huckleberry patches and glacial erratics, and maybe even a grizzly bear!

Your river rafting trip will cover about 8 miles along Glacier’s southwestern border, through the John Stevens Canyon. If you’d rather relax and take in the scenery on the federally protected Flathead River, we would be happy to guide you on a scenic float trip as an alternative.
